Railway Nostalgia
Looking around at various railway stations, I've noticed that several of them still haven't been modernised.
But I think I actually prefer the old designs to the modern ones...

Another year, another attempt at posting 365 pictures, one for each day of the year (I first started posting in 2008). This time though I have a brand new mobile phone with camera that can send pictures straight to this blog. Great, isn't it?

My local station, and a lot of stations along the same line, are still very Victorian. Lovely to look at, but the wind whips through you like nobodies business!
Victorian? Wow...
Most of the 'old' details I spot is from the 1950ies or so, I'd guess.
Next time I'm over that way I'll take some photographs. It'll have to be soon though, they're talking about modernising it this year (14 years after they removed a flight of steps ready for modernisation) and putting up 'modular' buildings.
